About

A workplace response to Europe's biggest health challenge.

Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death and disability in the EU — claiming 1.7 million lives every year and costing the EU economy more than €282 billion annually. In December 2025 the European Commission published its EU Cardiovascular Health Plan (the Safe Hearts Plan), built on three pillars: prevention, early detection and screening, and treatment and care.

Safe Hearts is the workplace expression of that plan — a focused programme that brings clinical-grade screening directly to European offices. We measure the six biomarkers most strongly linked to preventable cardiovascular and metabolic disease: cholesterol, long-term glucose (HbA1c), excess body fat, hypertension, stress, and chronic kidney disease.
